Life In Motion

So, the month of May was a total whirlwind. Knowing that we would be moving from Austin to NYC on May 31st, there was only one thing left to do: take a road trip through the Southwest. We loaded the truck with our camping gear and made a 3600 mile trek in 2 weeks, allowing us to sample some of the most beautiful spots around. From Texas we visited New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona.

a visual sampling for your pleasure:

Desert, as far as the eye can see, in New Mexico

While we ate lunch outside the Carlsbad Caverns, this little guy showed up to join us-Turkey Vulture

We stopped to absorb the sights in Taos, New Mexico

Entering Colorado right before the storm

Our first-class campsite in Moab, Utah

Witnessing beauty during the Bryce Canyon sunset

Details.  At a Sednona energy vortex

Once we were back in Austin, we sold the truck and further scaled down our belongings. A week later, with a couple of backpacks and my guitar, we flew to NYC. We've been temporary residents of Brooklyn ever since. Come early July, it's off to Canada for a little music, a little farming and a whole lot of unknowingness for what's next. As long as we stay in motion, all seems to work itself out...

Cheers!
